Volunteers are an integral part of everything that happens at The Guest House. We couldn’t do it without them. There are many ways to volunteer your time, as well as your skills, to help out. Depending on the season, we always have a list of much needed goods. If you would prefer to make an online financial contribution, click the "Please Make a donation" in the upper corner.

Shoppers
Fill out a card at  Pick ‘N Save or at the GUEST HOUSE to update your Shopper’s Advantage Card. On the bottom line above your signature, fill in the Charity Code #0831822, then shop and use your card for savings. The GUEST HOUSE gets dollars from Roundy’s “We Care” Program based on how much our donors shop. It costs you nothing – in fact, it actually saves you money.

It’s a Birthday Party
When was your last birthday party? Many homeless individuals can barely remember the last time they were at a birthday party, let alone one was being thrown in their honor. Each month we gather to celebrate the birthdays for that month. Volunteers prepare the birthday meal and cake and join in the celebrations.

Pomp and Circumstance Players
Monthly, we celebrate success with a recognition celebration. We serve a meal, we provide a certificate, we give each graduate a gift package and we cheer and carry on in a family fashion. Volunteers cook the food, serve the food and cheer with us.

Shelter Chefs
As many of us, our guests enjoy getting out of the house for a meal. However, when their regular meal sites close for cleaning, inventory or holidays; we serve meals. These meals are all prepared and served by guest chef volunteers.
